I’ve watched this film recently: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU&feature=youtu.be and there they say that America has the largest amount of cars in the world. In such big cities as Los Angeles the number of cars is almost equal to the number of inhabitants. They say that “the automobile has become a symbol of comfort and progress. If this model were followed by every society, the planet wouldn’t have 9 hundred million vehicles as it does today, but 9 billion.” I was impressed by these numbers and looked around – really, in general every American family has several cars, which poison the atmosphere with emissions. I’ve photographed the car emission harming plants, a single house with three cars near it, which is a norm, a playground close to parking, an electric car, which is a good choice to limit emissions, and a parking lot at Foothill. If only we could change our gas cars to cars with alternative sources of energy or at least hybrid cars, that would be great.
